Biometric Device Integration

This Odoo module enables smooth real-time synchronization of data between the biometric device and Odoo. It allows users to retrieve attendance records, reboot the device, and handle user details. The module includes features for saving employee fingerprint templates, setting the device's timezone, and planning attendance downloads. Moreover, users can create, modify, and remove users of the biometric device directly from Odoo's interface, providing thorough management capabilities through both the Odoo employee management system and the Biometric Device form.

This module relies on an external Python library called 'pyzk'. Before you install the module, you need to install this Python package first. You can do this using the command provided below.
pip install pyzk

HOW IT WORKS
  • arrow Add a new menu Attendance --> Biometric Device.
  • arrow Set up a new biometric device by adjusting the machine's IP address and port, and then verify the connection to ensure it is functioning correctly.
  • arrow By clicking the Download button, you can manually retrieve data from the machine. This process will store the attendance records, register employee information, and refresh the device details.
    Here we can see the Attendance in Attendance Analysis
  • arrow We have the ability to remove attendance records from both the device and Odoo, restart the device with a single click, and configure the user's timezone on the device.
  • arrow Manage users on the device.
  • arrow You can configure the biometric device user details from employee form.
  • arrow In the settings, you can set up a schedule for automatic attendance downloads and configure the time interval and period for these downloads.

I'm using odoo.sh How can I use your module because I did portfowading on my router but  I don't think it will work
