Common questions

Is it really free?
Yes — LGPL-3 licensed, no locked features, no upsell inside the app. If you later want payments matched automatically, that’s what the M-Pesa POS Payments app does.
I run five shops with five Tills — supported?
Yes, the setting is per POS configuration. Each shop prints its own number and label.
Does it change my receipt layout?
It adds a clean block (header) and/or line (footer) to the standard Odoo receipt — nothing else moves. Uninstall and the receipt is exactly as before.
Does it work without any other M-Pesa app?
Completely. It has no dependency beyond Point of Sale itself.
