Product Advanced Attributes
The Product Advanced Attributes Module enhances Odoo's online product listings by enabling
powerful attribute management. It lets users easily search, filter, and compare products on the
website using attributes. With features like attribute sets for quick product assignment and
advanced display controls, this module optimizes product presentation and boosts the online
shopping experience. It is ideal for businesses wanting clear, detailed, and customer-friendly
product information on their eCommerce sites.

Configuration
Product Attribute Advanced Option
From the Website > eCommerce > Attribute menu, users can access the Attributes option.
This menu allows users to manage product attributes with enhanced settings such as "Use in Search" and "Use in Compare".
These options enable attributes to be searchable and comparable on the website shop.
Search with Product Attribute
If the user enables the "Use in Search" option, only then can products be searched using attribute values on the website shop page.
Compare with Attribute
If the user enables the "Use in Compare" option, only then can products be compared by attribute on the website shop page.
Attribute Sets
To allocate multiple attributes under a single attribute set, go to the Website module > eCommerce and select the Attribute Set menu.
Click on the New button to create an attribute set.
Enter the name of the set and select the attributes to include in it.
Allocate multiple attributes under a single attribute set by going to the Product form.
Under the Advanced Attributes section, set the Attribute Set that has been configured.
Once saved, the Attribute Sets are assigned quickly to the product.
Custom Product Description
Add extra tailored descriptions on the product’s general tab for more detailed product information.
After publishing the product on the website, this description will also be displayed.
Product Specifications and Values
You can use the Product Specifications section to highlight details of the product. It helps buyers understand the product’s characteristics at a glance. Add Product Specifications on the product’s Sales tab with a specification title and its corresponding value.
After publishing the product on the website, this description will also appear as a specification, as shown in the image below.
Support New Attribute Types
Support new attribute types "Yes/No" when configuring product attributes.
For each product, set the value of this attribute to either "Yes" or "No" in the attribute tab during product setup.
Customers will see "Yes/No" attributes on product pages, in search filters.
