Configuration

Install the Module

  • Go to the Odoo Apps menu.

    • Search for “Sales AI Assistant” by Beyondata Solutions.

    Click the Active button to begin the installation process.

    Configure OpenAI Integration

  • Go to Settings → Open AI Configuration.

  • Enter your OpenAI API Key to enable natural language processing.

  • Note: Kindly follow the video below to generate the Open API Key. ▶Youtube
  • Select OpenAI Chat Model GPT 3.5 Turbo or GPT-4o

    Activate and Use the Sales AI Assistant

  • Open the Discuss Module.
  • Click on Sales AI Assistant from the Channels.

    • Begin interacting using plain English. Example queries:

    1. "Show all quotations for this week"

    It’s a conversational assistant built into the Odoo Sales module that lets users retrieve data by asking questions in natural language - no technical skills needed.

    This version supports only the Sales module. Integration with other modules is available in another app.

    There’s no limit from Odoo, but your OpenAI usage plan may have daily or monthly limits.

    Only the query text is sent to OpenAI. All business data remains securely within your Odoo system.

    You can get your OpenAI API Key by visiting https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys and logging in to your OpenAI account. From there, you can generate and copy your API key.

    In Odoo, go to Settings → OpenAI Configuration and paste your API key into the provided field.
