Deltatech Batch Return

This module allows you to group returns from multiple Sales Orders into a single return batch.

Key features:

  • Consolidated Returns: Create a single batch return containing products from various Sales Orders.
  • Automatic SO Identification: The module automatically identifies the latest Sales Orders where the products were delivered and prepares the necessary return pickings.
  • Inter-company Support: If inter-company rules are active, the module can also handle the corresponding purchase order returns and generate the appropriate vendor credit notes and customer credit notes.
  • Batch Validation: Validates all generated pickings (receptions and returns) in a single workflow.

Usage

To use the batch return feature:

  1. Go to Inventory > Operations > Batch Returns.
  2. Create a new record and select the Partner.
  3. If this is an inter-company return, check the Use inter-company rules option.
  4. In the Product lines tab, add the products and the quantities to be returned.
  5. Click Confirm. The module will:
    • Search for the Sales Orders where these products were delivered to the partner.
    • Create a Return batch (for the delivery returns).
    • Create a Reception batch (if inter-company rules are used, for the purchase order returns).
  6. Once the physical products are received, click Validate Batches. This will validate all pickings in the generated batches.
  7. To generate the credit notes, click Create Invoices. This will create the Customer Credit Notes (and Vendor Credit Notes for inter-company).
