1. Prefix-Suffix checkbox:

If the Prefix-Suffix checkbox is selected and the respective fields are filled, an internal reference will be generated automatically when a product is created." 2. Random checkbox:

Enter the maximum length for the randomly generated internal reference. If the Random option is enabled and a maximum length is provided, a random internal reference of the specified length will be automatically generated when a new product is created.

3. Financial Year checkbox:

Enable the "Financial Year" toggle to generate reference numbers based on the selected financial year format. Choose your country's financial year from the dropdown (e.g., "India (1st April - 31st March)") and fill in the required fields, such as separator, current sequence, step sequence, and maximum length. Click "Save" to apply the changes.

4. Product Name + Category + Attribute config:

Enable String Lowercase or String Uppercase to define the case format of the internal reference. Enable Product Name Config to generate an internal reference based on the product name, specifying the number of characters and separator. Enable Product Category to include product categories in the reference, defining character length and separator. Enable Product Attribute to incorporate product attributes in the reference with customizable length and separator.

5. The "Generate Internal Reference" dialog:

The Generate Internal References dialog allows you to generate internal reference numbers for the selected products based on your current configuration settings. Enable the "Replace Existing Internal References?" toggle to overwrite existing reference numbers for the selected products. Click the "Generate" button to initiate the process or "Cancel" to close the dialog without making changes.

6. "Generate Internal Reference" from Settings for all records:

The Generate Internal References from settings allows you to generate internal reference numbers from settings for all the product records based on your current configuration settings. Enable the "Replace Existing Internal References?" toggle to overwrite existing reference numbers for the all product records. Click the "Generate" button to initiate the process or "Cancel" to close the dialog without making changes.
