Invoice Auto Email
Description
This module is configured to send invoices automatically to the customer through mail when the invoice is confirmed.
Functionality
After installing the Invoice Auto Email application, the feature will be activated.
Go to Contacts. Click on any of the contacts.
We can see the “Automated Invoice Email” field is created in the Contacts form.
This boolean is only available on the parent contact. Once activated, it applies to all associated child contacts. When an invoice is confirmed from a child contact, an email is sent to the email address linked to that contact.
If we enable this boolean, an invoice will be sent via email to the customer each time we confirm an invoice for that particular customer.
Go to Sales and create a new sale order for that customer.
Create an Invoice and after you confirm the invoice, the mail is sent to the customer as mentioned above.
We have a boolean “Automated Email Send” in the invoice. Once the mail is sent to the customer then the boolean will be enabled automatically.
By using the boolean on the invoice we can ensure that mail is sent to the customer.
