What Is Payroll Dashboard & Salary Report?
A payroll analytics app that reads your existing payslips and builds every column dynamically from the payslip's own salary rules and worked-day entries. Because nothing is hard-coded, it adapts to any payroll structure or localization out of the box. Managers get a live Owl dashboard for headcount, worked days and salary computations, plus a Company - Department - Employee salary report they can export to Excel or PDF.

Available to users in the Payroll Officer group. Every figure is scoped to the companies the user is allowed to see and currently has active.
How It Works
From installation to first result in five steps.
Install & Activate
Go to Apps, search "Payroll Dashboard", and click Install. A new Payroll -> Payroll Analytics menu is created automatically.
Pick a Payslip Batch
Open Payroll Analytics -> Dashboard and choose a payslip batch. Only batches for your active companies are listed.
Switch Views
Toggle between Worked days and Salary computations. Columns and KPI cards are generated live from the payslip lines in the batch.
Filter & Drill Down
Filter by department, employee or total days. Click any employee to expand the full worked-days breakdown and salary ledger, with links to the payslip and its journal entry.
Export the Salary Report
Open Payroll Analytics -> Salary Report, choose a date range, and generate Excel (one sheet per company) or PDF grouped Company - Department - Employee with department, company and grand totals.

Configuration
Zero Setup
There is nothing to configure. Once installed, the dashboard reads your confirmed and paid payslips directly. Filters and columns adapt automatically to the salary rules in use.
Access Control
Grant users the Payroll Officer role to open the dashboard and generate the salary report. All data respects Odoo's standard multi-company record rules.
Data Source
The dashboard groups payslips by batch; the salary report selects payslips in a date range. Both include payslips in the Done and Paid states.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to configure anything?
No. The dashboard reads your existing payslips directly - columns and KPI cards are discovered automatically from the payslip lines.
Does it work with custom or localized payroll rules?
Yes. Any salary rule or worked-day entry type in your payslips is detected and shown as a column, so it fits any payroll structure or localization.
Is it multi-company aware?
Yes. Batches, filters and totals are scoped to the companies the user is allowed to see and currently has active in the company switcher.
Which payslips are included?
