  • Our tour module helps in managing contract with all your suppliers to manage your accommodation, transportation, restaurants, guides and other logistical requirements.
  • Tour Itinerary can be sent to customers via email once they book the tour.
  • You can vary and configure accommodation prices based on date range
  • Pricing for the packages can be set according to the currency and can be calculated as per the exchange rate of the selected currency.
  • With the help of this module, the tour operator can also calculate cost per person for adult and child.

We’ve introduced a Customer Feedback Form on the website, allowing customers to share their travel experience:

Reviewed feedback can be published as testimonials on the website with the customer’s concent.

Helps in building trust with new customers and enhances credibility.

This feature is aimed at capturing authentic customer experiences and showcasing them to attract future prospects.

All in one installer

We’ve introduced a new All-in-One Installer feature in the Tours and Travels module, designed to simplify the setup process. This enhancement automatically identifies all necessary dependent modules and allows users to install them with a single click, rather than adding each one manually.

It significantly reduces setup time, minimizes errors from missing dependencies, and offers a more seamless and efficient installation experience.

Website Booking

Packages can be managed from the backend and published directly to the website. Customers can view and inquire about any listed packages. In addition to standard packages, there is also an option for customers to request custom packages by submitting their specific requirements.

Upon inquiry, the system captures the provided details and automatically creates a lead in the CRM. The sales team can then follow up, contact the customer, and create a tailored tour plan based on their preferences.

Location information

The "Location Information" section in our tour package provides essential details about the destinations included country, district, and city, offering travelers precise information about the geographic locations they will visit during their journey. This section ensures clarity and facilitates efficient planning for an enriching travel experience.

Available meals

The "Meal" section in the hotel section offers comprehensive information about meal options available during the stay.

Luggage Limit

The "Luggage Limit" feature in our tour package automatically generated based on the selected transport type, providing travelers with clear guidelines on the permitted baggage allowance for their journey.

Driver Details

The travel information section, which includes driver details, in our tour package is automatically generated based on the chosen mode of transportation. It furnishes travelers with crucial information about their assigned driver, such as their name and contact number.

Contract Creation

  • It is a mandatory requirement of the tour module that the contracts must be in running state for considering prices for defined hotels here.
    The tour operator can add items to specify seasons for selected hotel.

Season Configuration

We can link tour with a season. This will help user to filter out list of tours getting conducted in a particular season.

Package Creation

The tour module allows the tour operator to create packages. For creating packages, you need to go to Tour & Travels ⟶ Package ⟶ Package.

  • Is Package must be true: When creating package in this tour module, ‘Is package’ Boolean must have to be True to consider this as a package.

  • Number of Participants: Group of package created for entered number of members specified in this field in the tour module.

  • Arrival & Departure Date : The Odoo tour module also has the provision where itinerary lines are automatically generated from this specified dates. One has to fill other details like description, time and meals.

Hotels

  • Category : The tour operator needs to select the hotel category. The tour operator can add items to specify seasons for selected hotel.

  • Supplier : It allows you to select supplier those already have contract available in running state between arrival and departure date of package.

  • Days : It allows the tour operator to select convenient days from itinerary and other details like room, room type, price will be populated automatically based on selected days from available contract for hotel and its season. The tour operator can change this detail also.

Transportation

In the tour module, the contract should be available in running state between date range of package. Price and hours can be auto populated based on selection of product and supplier.

In the tour module,we can manage the passport and visa

Other Service

Other service section shall incorporate all the other addon services like Entry fees etc.

Passenger

In the tour module, passenger list needs to be listed along with the Age, Gender and Type (Adult / Child). Based on the above criteria system generates final price for the tour booking. Same list is auto populated in Hotel Booking screen and Transportation booking screen. Odoo creates equal number of hotel booking records where destination is marked as “Night Stay”.

Profit Price

In the tour module, 2 parameters of profit pricing is taken into consideration. One is fixed and the other is percentage price.

  • Fixed : Fixed amount applied on selling price only.

  • Percentage : Entered percentage is calculated for selling price only.

  • Days : It allows the tour operator to select convenient days from itinerary and other details like room, room type, price will be populated automatically based on selected days from available contract for hotel and its season. The tour operator can change this detail also.

Note* - Except hotel price all prices total divided by number of participants.

Flight Search using Amadeus API

In order to initiate the Amadeus operation, it is essential to configure the settings that facilitate the authentication process between Amadeus and Odoo.

For authentication purposes, the following information is required for getting the access token: API key, API secret,Authentication URL You can retrieve them from your Shopify store by following these steps:

1. Log into your Amadeus developer account.
2. Navigate to the "My self-service workspace" section.
3. Choose " My App" from the options.
4. Create new with essential information.
5.After successfully creating the App you will be able to get the API key and API secret
6.Authentication URL will be get in the Self-Service APIs section

1. Configuration (Create Instance)

Once you have acquired the required credentials, proceed to create an instance in Odoo

Set the obtained values within the instance settings, after that click on the button to establish the connection between Odoo and Amadeus.

If the connection is successful, it will be displayed as shown in the image below. However, if the connection is unsuccessful, it will be displayed differently, as depicted in the image below.

2. Import Airport and City

After successfully completing the authentication process, you will be able to see the 'Import Airport and Cities' button.Click on the button to import airport and city information.

3. Import Airline Information

After successfully completing the authentication process, you will be able to see the 'Import Airline Information' button.Click on the button to import Airline Informations information.

4. Get Flight Details From Website

Users can navigate to the website, where they can search for and retrieve detailed flight information based on their specific requirements and preferences.

Here, users can select their requirements and retrieve detailed flight information, but there are certain conditions for adding the passenger counter.

Adult : The total number of seated travelers (adult and children) can not exceed 9.
Children : The total number of seated travelers (adult and children) can not exceed 9,who will each have their own separate seat.
Infants : Infants travel on the lap of an adult traveler, and thus the number of infants must not exceed the number of adults.

Once added your requirements, click on the 'Explore' button to retrieve comprehensive flight information from Amadeus, which will provide you with detailed insights based on the criteria you've selected
