Tour Configuration

Package Types :- Define different types of tour packages (e.g., group tour, family trip, honeymoon).

Tour Season :– Set available seasons for tours (e.g., summer, winter).

Tour Destinations :– Define various destination points (e.g., Paris, Goa, Dubai).

Terms and Conditions:– Set the standard terms that apply to tours.

Payment Policy:- Set payment rules such as advance amount, due dates.

Tour Deduction Policy:- Define cancellation or deduction rules (e.g., 50% refund if canceled 7 days before).

Tour Discount :– Configure available discounts (seasonal, group, early-bird).

Amadeus Instance

Transport Information :- Configure the settings that facilitate the authentication process between Amadeus and Odoo.

Guide Configuration

Guide Specialties :- Define specific skills or areas of expertise (e.g., adventure, wildlife, history).

Guide Registrations:– Register and manage individual guides with their destination and specialities.

Transport Configuration

Transport Information :- Add vehicle/transport details (bus, van, flight, etc.).

Hotel Configuration

Hotel Type :- Classify hotels (e.g., 3-star, luxury, resort).

Hotel Information:– Manage full details of each hotel (location, contact, photos).

Tour Creation

The Tour workflow in the module begins with Tour Creation.
Here, you create a new tour by entering all key details like the tour name, start and end dates, destination, number of available seats, pricing, and assigning a guide.

You also link related services such as hotel stays, transport arrangements, visa or passport assistance, and other amenities.


Once everything is set up, you can publish the tour on the website so customers can view and inquire or book it online.

Booking in Website

When a customer sends an inquiry from the website, it automatically creates a lead in the CRM.

The salesperson handling the CRM can review the inquiry and, if the customer is interested, directly convert the lead into a booking—right from the CRM.

This streamlines the process by connecting the website, CRM, and tour booking system.


Tour Booking

Once a booking is created, the system automatically generates related service bookings—such as hotel reservation, transport, and any additional services based on what was set up in the tour. These can be managed through smart buttons on the booking form.

Once a booking is created, the system automatically generates related service bookings—such as hotel reservation, transport, and any additional services based on what was set up in the tour. These can be managed through smart buttons on the booking form.

Invoicing and Payment

After the invoice is created, you can register payments against it—either partial or full—depending on what the policy allows. This helps in tracking customer payments clearly and ensures that everything is aligned with the agreed terms.

Tour Cancellation

If a customer cancels, you can go to Tour Cancellation to cancel the booking. This will also cancel the linked services like hotel and transport bookings.

Depending on your configured cancellation policy, any deduction or refund amount will be calculated automatically.

Feedback

After a tour is completed, customers can give their feedback through the website. They can share their experience, and the team can view it from the backend. If needed, the feedback can also be published on the website to help future customers.

MIS Reports

    The Reporting menu helps you track how your tours are performing. It includes:
  • Leads Booking – Check how many inquiries you got, and how many turned into actual bookings.
  • Hotel Booking – View all hotel reservations linked to tours.
  • Transport Booking – Track transport services booked for each tour.
  • Sales Person – Know how each salesperson is performing in terms of bookings and revenue.
  • Booking Source – See where your bookings are coming from (website, Instagram, etc.).
  • Feedback – View customer feedback after their tour ends.
  • Tour Booking Revenue – See how much money you earned from each tour, along with the number of adults and children booked.
