Login to Slack api and Create New App.

Permission Set up

Access your app and go to the "Scopes" section within the "OAuth & Permissions" menu. Include the permissions in the "User Token Scopes"

Reinstall the Slack app in workspace again, then copy the 'User OAuth Token'

Login to your Slack Workspace

Navigate to the Slack Configuration tab in Company form view and add the Slack Token and click Sync.

Navigate to Discuss module. We can see the imported Channels here.

Send a message from Odoo.

Message received in Slack.

Send a message from Slack.

Message received in Odoo.

Attachment support

Can send attachment including videos, audios, images etc. to and from Odoo and Slack.

User name by User token

If user token is added other, the name of the User will be added directly in Slack, otherwise, Odoo bot will be added with the author name mixed with the text
