Cancel Manufacturing Orders in Bulk

Managing manufacturing orders shouldn’t slow you down, especially when plans change. With the Bulk MO Cancel app,
you can cancel multiple manufacturing orders at once directly from your list view, eliminating repetitive manual work.

Just select the orders, confirm your decision and let the system handle the rest : related work orders, stock movements and
even accounting entries are automatically cancelled or reversed.

Used raw materials are swiftly returned to inventory, ensuring your records stay accurate and your team stays productive.

Bulk MO cancellation

Select and cancel multiple manufacturing orders from the list view, saving significant time and effort.

Auto-cancel related work orders

All associated work orders are cancelled automatically, ensuring nothing is left incomplete.

Reverse stock movements

The system manages all linked stock moves, so inventory levels remain accurate without manual intervention.

Restore raw materials to inventory

Any raw materials used are returned to stock, minimizing waste and maintaining inventory integrity.

Delete related accounting entries

Linked journal entries are removed, keeping your financial records clean and up-to-date.

Confirmation & permission control

A confirmation popup helps prevent accidental cancellations, and only authorized users can perform bulk cancellations.


Installation

To install the module you need to go to the Apps menu and remove the filter from the search bar and type the module name pragtech_bulk_mo_cancel and click on the Active button.

Application Designs

    Select and Start Bulk Cancel
  • From the list view, choose multiple Manufacturing Orders (MOs) you want to cancel. Click the Action button and select the Bulk Cancel MO option to begin the process.
    Confirm the Cancellation
  • A confirmation popup will appear to ensure the action is intentional.
  • Review the message and click Cancel MOs to continue with the cancellation

Automatic Cancellation

  • Once confirmed, the selected MOs will be cancelled.
  • Their related Work Orders, Stock Moves, and Journal Entries will also be cancelled automatically.

Reverse Stock Movement

  • The system will automatically create reverse stock moves.
  • This returns the consumed raw materials back to inventory.

It allows you to cancel multiple manufacturing orders at once from the list (tree) view, saving time and effort.

Select the desired MOs from the list view, click the Action button, and choose Bulk Cancel MO.

The selected MOs and their related work orders, stock moves, and journal entries will be cancelled automatically.

Yes, reverse stock moves are created to return the consumed raw materials back to inventory.

Yes, a confirmation wizard appears before cancelling, so you can review and confirm the action.

No, only MOs in valid cancellable states (e.g., not done or already cancelled) can be processed.

Yes, any journal entries related to the MOs will be deleted as part of the cancellation process.

Only users with the appropriate Manufacturing and Accounting permissions can access and use this feature.
