Installation

  1. Download the module from the Odoo App Store or clone the repository.
  2. Place the module in your Odoo addons directory.
  3. Update your Odoo instance to include the new module.
  4. Install the module through the Odoo interface.

How to use this module:

  1. Go to Inventory > Reporting > Inventory Valuation Report from the main menu.
  2. A wizard will appear allowing you to set filters such as warehouse/location, product or category, date range, company, and a summary view checkbox for grouped output.
  3. If Filter By: Category is selected, choose one or more product categories.
  4. Click on “Print PDF” to download a formatted valuation report, or “Print Excel” to export data as an XLS file.
  5. The generated report will show beginning stock, received stock, internal transfers, sales, adjustments, and ending stock values with cost-based valuation.

User Access Setup

  1. Navigate to: Settings → Users & Companies → Users
  2. Select the user and enable ** Stock Valuation Report** checkbox
  3. Save changes. The user will now have access to the Inventory Valuation Report menu under Inventory → Reporting and can generate stock valuation reports based on their access rights.
