Barber Appointment Management

This module allows you to manage appointment and service requests from both customers and website visitors/guests directly through your Odoo website. All incoming requests are tracked and handled efficiently in the backend using a dedicated Barber/Salon Request Team, ensuring organized and streamlined management of all barber and salon service inquiries.



Main Features of Barber Appointment Management Module:
  • Website Request Form: Customers or website visitors can submit a barber/salon service request directly through a user friendly form on your website.
  • Unique Barber Request Number: Each submitted request is automatically assigned a unique request number/ID, which is recorded in the backend for efficient tracking and reference.
  • Customer Portal Access: Customers can log in to the Odoo customer portal to view the status and history of all barber requests they have submitted under the "My Account" section.
  • Backend Request Management: The Barber Admin can assign submitted requests to specific Barber Officers and Barber Teams for further processing and handling.
  • Sales Quotation Generation: Barber Officers can generate and manage sales quotations based on service requests and send them to customers. The standard Odoo sales to invoice workflow is followed, including quotation, confirmation, invoicing, and payment.
  • Project Task Creation: Barber Officers can create Project Tasks directly from barber requests to manage services and coordinate work with the barber team.
  • Material Requisition from Tasks: Barber Officers or assigned Barbers can create Material Requisitions from the project tasks, linking them to the required materials and services for the task execution.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Barber Officers can schedule an Appointment directly from the Barber Request, assigning it to the preferred appointee and relevant Barber Team members. Appointment attendees can also be added.
  • Barber Team Management: The system allows Barber Admins or Officers to create and manage Barber Teams from the configuration menu for better service assignment and resource planning.
  • Request Stage Configuration: Admins and Officers can define and manage Barber Request Stages to reflect the progress of each request (e.g., New, In Progress, Completed).
  • Service Management: Barber Admins or Officers can configure and maintain a list of Barber Services under the configuration settings.
  • Tag Configuration: Tags can be set up and managed to help classify and filter barber requests efficiently.
  • Category Management: Admins or Officers can manage barber request categories for better organization and reporting.
  • Product Management: Barber Admins or Officers can configure and manage products and service items under the Products menu.
  • Customer Portal View: Customers can view submitted barber requests and appointments from their portal account under "My Account".
  • PDF Report: Generate and download Barber Request reports in PDF format as shown in the screenshots.

User Roles and Responsibilities:

  • 1. Customer / Guest / Public User

    • Can submit Barber Requests through the website by filling out the online request form.
    • Logged in customers can access the "My Account" section of the website portal to view all their submitted Barber Requests and track their status.

  • 2. Barber Admin

    • Responsible for overseeing and managing all barber requests.
    • Can assign requests to the appropriate Barber Officers, Barber Users, or Barber Teams for further action.
    • Manages configuration settings such as services, stages, categories, and teams.

  • 3. Barber Officer

    • Can generate and manage Sales Quotations based on the customers barber request.
    • Can create and manage Appointments with customers, including assigning the relevant team members.
    • Can create Project Tasks from barber requests for service execution.
    • Can generate Material Requisitions from the associated tasks.
    • Engages with customers using Odoos Chatter for internal discussions or schedules Meetings if needed.
    • Can print the PDF report of the barber request for offline use or sharing.

  • 4. Barber

    • Works on the assigned tasks created from barber requests.
    • Responsible for recording work progress and logging timesheets on tasks assigned to them.
