Overview
Smart Cheapest Product Discount for POS
This feature allows businesses to automatically apply discounts on the cheapest products in a Point of Sale order based on predefined discount conditions. When a customer buys a specific number of items, the system identifies the lowest-priced products and applies a free or partial discount automatically. The discount is applied in real time at the POS, reducing manual effort and ensuring accurate pricing. All discount details are clearly visible to both the cashier and the customer during payment and on the printed receipt.

Configurations for Contacts :
1. Enable Promotions, Coupons, Gift Cards & Loyalty Program.
Create a Discount Program :
2. Go to Point of Sale --> Products --> Discounts & Loyalty.
Configure the Discount Rule :

Create a new Loyalty/Discount Program.
- In the program, select the Program Type : Promotions
Go to Rewards

In the Rewards wizard, select the Reward Type “Discount”.
- In the Rewards, select the Reward Type “Multi Cheapest Product”.
* Define:
- The number of products the customer must Buy in the field of Buy Quantity.
- The number of cheapest products the customer Free in the field of Free Quantity.
Automatic Discount Application
5. When the customer adds products to the cart and the required quantity is reached, system automatically identifies the cheapest products and the discount is applied to that products. - The total payable amount is reduced automatically.
Discount Visibility
6. The discounted amount is clearly shown on the payment screen.
7. The same discount details are also printed on the Point of Sale receipt.
If different products are configured with different taxes, separate lines are created for each tax group, the amounts are reduced accordingly, and the details are shown on the POS receipt.
