This module helps users handle partially delivered sales orders and partially received purchase orders without cancelling the useful completed quantity. It reduces the open order quantity, marks the line as closed, and keeps the original quantity available for reference.

1. Confirm the
Order
  • Confirm the sales order or purchase order in the normal Odoo flow
  • The module works once the order is active and ready for delivery or receipt
2. Deliver or Receive
Partially
  • Process the quantity that is actually delivered or received
  • The remaining quantity stays open until the user decides to close it
3. Close Remaining
Quantity
  • Click Close Remaining Lines from the order or Close on a specific line
  • The ordered quantity is reduced to the delivered or received quantity

4. Keep Original

  • The Original Qty field keeps the first ordered quantity visible
  • Users can understand what was ordered before the remaining part was closed
5. Protect Closed

  • Related active stock moves are marked as closed
