Odoo Google Drive Integration
Odoo Google Drive Integration is the provider-specific connector for the Cloud Sync Engine Base. It synchronizes Odoo attachments with Google Drive using the base engine's queue, dispatching, and folder rules framework.
KeyFeatures
Everything your team needs for Google Drive synchronization in Odoo
Connect Odoo attachments to Google Drive with dedicated upload, download, rename, move, and delete operations handled by the Google Drive provider implementation.
Google Drive push notifications and page-token based change polling help keep Odoo aligned with files modified directly in Drive.
Google Drive folder resolution works with parent folders and explicit parent changes to mirror a hierarchy inside Drive.
Refresh tokens, access token expiry handling, and connection state tracking are built into the provider configuration experience.
Support file upload, sync-back downloads, rename operations, and delete/trash handling within the queue-driven workflow.
This connector inherits the UI, queue, and folder framework of the base module rather than building its own frontend.
Google Workspace documents can be exported into standard binary formats before download to Odoo users.
Provider methods are isolated and easy to extend for webhooks, shared drives, quota checks, and additional Google API behavior.
Queue retries, logging, and background processing help protect the Odoo transaction layer while files move to and from Drive.
Provider records hold credentials, root folder references, webhook settings, and token timestamps for easy administration.
See it in Action
Watch real Google Drive folder workflows from the Odoo File Manager — create a folder in your cloud hierarchy, then move it to another location. Each action is queued by the Cloud Sync Engine and reflected on Google Drive without leaving Odoo.
Feature Deep Dive

Configuration
Set up the app in Google Cloud Console, enable the Google Drive API, create OAuth credentials, and connect Odoo to the provider record. This tab is the best place to show the end-to-end setup flow from Google side to Odoo side.
Use the images below to document Google Console configuration, Odoo provider setup, and the authorization handshake.

Smart Folder Rules
Define automatic folder rules and generate cloud folders that mirror your Odoo business structure. This section is focused on folder rule setup, parent-child organization, and the resulting cloud folder generation flow.
Add screenshots here to show how rules are created, linked, and used to generate folders automatically in Google Drive.

Sync Overview
Show the basic bi-directional synchronization of folders and files between Odoo and Google Drive. This tab should help users understand how data moves in both directions before they explore individual operations.
Use this area to show the broad sync lifecycle from Odoo attachments to Drive and from Drive back to Odoo.

Sync Operations
Document each operation that runs bi-directionally through the shared queue and Google Drive API integration. The videos below are ready for the operation demos you asked for.
