Vehicle Trade Management
Vehicle Trade Management is the main backend app for managing vehicle buying, selling, enquiries, inspections, service history, insurance, documents, and trade records in Odoo. Review the backend app first because it controls vehicle stock, vehicle status, CRM flow, and internal trade operations. After the backend setup is completed, the website app can display selected vehicles online and allow customers to enquire for exact available stock vehicles.

1.) Submit Vehicle Selling Enquiry
Customers can submit their vehicle selling request from the website by filling in personal and vehicle details. The form collects brand, model, year, ownership, mileage, insurance status, expected price, and extra notes. After submission, the enquiry is created in the backend for the trade team to review and process.

2.) Vehicle Enquiry Submission Confirmation
After submitting the vehicle enquiry, the customer sees a confirmation message with the generated enquiry reference number. This page confirms that the request has been received successfully and will be reviewed by the vehicle trade team. Customers can go back home, track the enquiry, or open the portal enquiry list using the available buttons.

3.) Portal Trade Enquiries Menu
Customers can access all submitted vehicle trade enquiries from their portal account. This menu helps users track their buy or sell vehicle requests in one place. It provides quick access to enquiry details, status updates, and related vehicle trade information.

4.) View Portal Trade Enquiries
This page shows all vehicle trade enquiries submitted by the logged-in customer. Customers can view enquiry reference, type, vehicle name, created date, and current status. The Create Enquiry button allows users to submit a new vehicle buy or sell request directly from the portal.

5.) View Vehicle Trade Enquiry Details
Customers can open a submitted enquiry to view complete request details from the portal. The page shows customer information, vehicle offered details, expected price, created date, and current enquiry status. This helps customers review their submitted vehicle trade request without accessing the backend.

6.) Manage Website Trade Enquiries
The backend Trade Enquiries list shows all vehicle buy and sell requests submitted from the website. Users can review enquiry number, enquiry type, customer contact, phone, brand, model, salesperson, created date, and status. This helps the trade team quickly track new enquiries and start the internal follow-up process.

7.) Review Vehicle Trade Enquiry
This form displays the complete details of a selected vehicle trade enquiry. Users can review customer information, enquiry type, vehicle details, and privacy policy acceptance. The enquiry can be moved through stages such as Contacted, Qualified, Won, or Lost, and users can open the linked CRM lead directly.

8.) Convert Enquiry into CRM Opportunity
The linked CRM opportunity is created from the website vehicle selling enquiry. Users can review customer contact details, expected revenue, probability, and enquiry information inside the CRM pipeline. After discussion with the customer, the opportunity can be marked as won to continue the vehicle trade process.

9.) Create Vehicle from Won Opportunity
After the CRM opportunity is marked as won, a vehicle creation wizard appears with enquiry details already filled in. The wizard shows linked lead, website enquiry, trade manager, vehicle information, seller, and buyer details. Users can confirm the information and create the vehicle record directly from the completed enquiry flow.

10.) Created Vehicle Detail Record
After confirming the won selling enquiry, the system creates a vehicle detail record in the backend. This form stores vehicle information, seller and buyer details, linked enquiry, CRM lead, and trade manager. Users can manage vehicle images, service history, specifications, condition, inspection, history, and insurance details from this record.

11.) Create Vendor Bill for Purchased Vehicle
This tab shows vendor bill information after the business purchases the vehicle from the seller. Users can review the vendor, vehicle selling price, taxes, and linked bill of purchase. It keeps purchase cost details connected with the vehicle trade record for clear accounting and tracking.

12.) Paid Vendor Bill
This vendor bill records the payment made to the seller for purchasing the vehicle. Users can review the vendor, linked vehicle trade record, bill date, due date, invoice lines, total amount, and payment status. Once paid, the bill shows as posted and paid, keeping the vehicle purchase accounting properly tracked.

13.) Portal Vendor Bills Menu
This portal menu allows vehicle sellers to access vendor bills related to their submitted selling enquiries. 14.) View Seller Bills in Portal
This page lists vendor bills related to the sellers vehicle trade transactions. Users can view bill number, bill date, due date, amount due, and payment status. The sort and filter options help sellers quickly find paid or pending bills from the portal.

15.) View Paid Vendor Bill Details
This page shows the complete vendor bill details for the sellers vehicle transaction. The seller can view the bill amount, payment status, company details, bill number, date, total, and amount due. A download option is available so the seller can save the bill document from the portal.

16.) Publish Vehicle on Website
The vehicle record is moved to the Available / In Discussion stage with website visibility enabled. The Show on Website option allows this vehicle to appear in the website buying section. Users can also manage multiple vehicle images that will be displayed on the website detail page.

17.) Submit Vehicle Buying Enquiry
Customers can select an available vehicle from the published stock and submit a buying enquiry. The form shows real backend vehicles with price, year, fuel type, mileage, and quick detail access. Customers can add their offer amount, requirements, notes, and submit the enquiry for internal review.

18.) View Website Vehicle Detail Page
Customers can open a published vehicle to review complete stock details before sending a buying enquiry. The page shows vehicle images, preview option, price, brand, model, year, fuel type, mileage, and registration details. 19.) Preview Vehicle Image
Customers can click the vehicle image to open a larger preview in a popup view. The preview helps buyers inspect vehicle photos clearly before submitting an enquiry. Users can close the popup and continue reviewing condition, inspection, service history, and documents.

20.) Submit Selected Vehicle Buying Request
Customers can choose a real available vehicle from website stock and submit a buying request. The selected vehicle card is highlighted, and the form captures customer details, offer amount, requirements, and message. After submission, a backend trade enquiry and linked CRM lead are created for the selected stock vehicle.

21.) Buying Enquiry Submission Confirmation
After submitting a vehicle buying request, the customer receives a confirmation message with the generated enquiry reference. 23.) Review Buying Trade Enquiry
The backend buying enquiry form shows the customers selected stock vehicle and buying requirement details. Users can review customer contact information, linked CRM lead, linked vehicle trade record, budget, fuel type, and notes. Smart buttons allow users to quickly open the related CRM lead or vehicle trade record for further processing.

24.) Manage Customer Down Payment
The Sale and Purchase tab shows buyer invoice details for the selected vehicle trade. Users can review the customer, buyer price, and required down payment amount. The Down Payment button allows the trade team to generate an advance invoice for the buyer.

25.) View Customer Invoice and Profit Details
The Sale and Purchase tab shows the generated customer invoice after the buyer payment process is completed. 28.) View and Pay Customer Invoice
Customers can open a vehicle purchase invoice to review the payable amount and invoice details.
