FSM Sale Lost Reason
------
Track why field service tasks are completed without sales, ensuring better insights and accountability for your team.
Overview
----------------
The FSM Sale Lost Reason module enhances your Field Service Management workflow by requiring technicians to specify a reason when completing tasks without generating a confirmed sale. This feature helps businesses understand why sales opportunities are lost during field service visits, enabling better training, process improvements, and customer relationship management.
Key Features:
- Project-Level Configuration: Enable the "Use Lost Reason" setting on specific FSM projects to activate this requirement only where needed.
- Conditional Requirement: The lost reason is only required when marking a task as done if no confirmed sale order exists for that task.
- User-Friendly Wizard: A simple popup wizard prompts the user to select a lost reason from predefined options before completing the task.
- Seamless Integration: Works alongside existing FSM workflows, including material tracking and quotation generation, without disrupting native Odoo functionality.
- Reporting & Analysis: Lost reasons are stored on tasks, making it easy to generate reports and identify trends in lost sales opportunities.
Configuration: Simply navigate to your Field Service project settings, enable "Allow Material" (if not already enabled), and then activate "Use Lost Reason". Define your lost reason options in the Sales module's Lost Reason configuration.
