Current LimitationIn Odoo's default POS, categories are stuck in a fixed-height layout, making navigation tricky. Unsorted categories and unnecessary visual clutter make it harder for cashiers to find what they need, especially in large inventories.
With categories displayed in a fixed height, cashiers are forced to scroll through a sea of unsorted options.
When a category is selected, child categories appear lower on the screen and slow down the flow.

Works
Configure It from POS Interface
SettingsEnable Category Breadcrumb from the POS Interface settings and choose the layout style that best fits your store workflow.
Configure breadcrumb behavior and choose between Top Bar Display, Top Bar Display with Horizontal Category Layout, or Sidebar Display.
Reload POS Data for Active Sessions
Apply ChangesAfter changing the setting, reload POS data with Limited or Full reload so the selected layout is applied correctly for active sessions.
Reload POS data to make the selected category layout and breadcrumb behavior active immediately.
