Subscription ITSM
Run managed-service contracts on autopilot â recurring tickets, self-renewing subscriptions with price indexation, and expiry alerts, straight from Odoo Subscriptions.
Why this module
Odoo Subscriptions bills your service contracts and Helpdesk handles the tickets â but nothing connects the contract to the operational work it promises. Preventive visits and recurring maintenance tickets have to be opened by hand, renewals expire silently or lose money to inflation, and customers never see proof of the SLA they pay for.
Subscription ITSM closes that gap for IT service providers and MSPs: each recurring product opens its own scheduled tickets, subscriptions renew themselves, your team is warned before contracts expire, and customers receive a monthly SLA report by email.
Scheduled helpdesk tickets from your service products
Link a ticket template to any recurring service product and set its cadence right on the product â daily, weekly, monthly (by day of month or nth weekday, e.g. the first Friday) or yearly. A daily scheduled action then opens the tickets for every customer on that subscription, and optionally for each of their branches. Schedules pause when the subscription leaves In Progress and stop at its end date.
Renewals, alerts and consolidation â configured once
Subscriptions flagged Renew Order Automatically are renewed and confirmed before Odoo would close them, so a contract never lapses. For Brazilian companies, renewal prices are adjusted by the 12-month IGPM or IPCA index fetched live from the Central Bank, with every change logged in the chatter. A configurable expiry alert warns your team â in a Discuss channel or a helpdesk ticket â a set number of days in advance. And Consolidate Sale Projects turns a multi-product order into a single project.
More in the box
| Monthly SLA report by email | A monthly PDF of on-time vs late resolution for the previous month, emailed to each customer's SLA report contacts â proof of the service they pay for. |
| Recurring vs non-recurring totals | Split the quotation and portal totals into Recurring and Non-Recurring, so the customer sees the ongoing fee apart from one-off charges. |
| Keep-or-replace template | Append a quotation template's lines to the existing order instead of Odoo's default wipe-and-replace. |
| Company-only sales guard | Optionally block confirming a Sale Order whose customer is not a Company â a simple B2B safeguard. |
| Send NDA from CRM leads | A Send NDA button on the lead opens the Sign wizard preloaded with your NDA template in the contact's language (Portuguese-BR or English). |
| Renewed contracts locked | Once a subscription is superseded by its renewal, the Invoice/Send/Preview buttons are hidden so no one bills the old contract by mistake. |
Getting started
- Under Settings → Sales → Sale ITSM, set the expiry-alert days and action, the renewal index (Brazil only), and whether to consolidate sale projects.
- On each recurring service product, fill the Helpdesk ITSM tab: a ticket template and its recurrence.
- Tick Renew Order Automatically on the subscriptions that must auto-renew.
- Three scheduled actions ship active: schedule sync (daily), expiry check (daily) and the SLA report (monthly).
Scope & compatibility
- Odoo 19.0 Enterprise â extends Subscriptions, Sales, CRM and Sign.
- Requires the companion module
helpdesk_itsm; ticket templates, schedules and the SLA report engine live there. - Price indexation on renewal is Brazil-only (IGPM/IPCA from the Central Bank API) and
needs outbound access to
api.bcb.gov.br; other companies renew at unchanged prices. - Auto-renewal confirms the new order immediately, with no customer approval or payment step in between.
