Multi Package Inventory Report
This application allows you generate reports in multiple Packaging comparisons with the conversion ratio.
If we have a product with multiple packages like a box, pouch, drum, etc. The system will help to generate a report with all packaging possibilities with available stock.

Packaging Record
Please choose the product you wish to purchase and then enter the desired quantity to be recorded for that item.
Select the Products.
Open the pop-up window and take your time to select multiple products that you are interested in.

Prepare a detailed report and carefully analyze the quantity of each product available in stock.

Package Record
Maintained comprehensive records for each product's packaging, ensuring that every package is meticulously cataloged with a unique sequence number and evaluated for its quality, thereby facilitating better inventory management and quality control processes.

The product selected is shown according to the packages and self-manages within the packaging.

Client Request Process
- Go to Inventory Configuration Inside the Products Select Units of Measure & Packagings
- Enhanced the packaging configuration to ensure precise tracking and calculation of inventory based on valid packaging types.
- Introduced Sequence for setting priority, and Packaging to mark valid packaging.
Product Packaging Setup
- Open Inventory → Products and select any product.
- Under the Sales tab, inside Upsell & Cross-Sell, go to the Packaging section.
- Add the desired packaging (e.g., Box of 8 units) and ensure the selected packaging has “Packaging” enabled — only those are considered in the report calculation.
Wizard Screen
- Go to Inventory → Reporting → Multi Package Inventory. The wizard will pop up allowing you to select Products.
Report Screen
- On clicking Print, you’ll get a detailed inventory report with product-wise packaging breakdown calculated as per their quantity available ÷ packaging quantity.
- Only packaging marked as “Packaging” and linked in the product’s Sales tab are considered during calculation.

Multi Package Inventory Overview
The Multi Package Inventory Report enhances your Odoo Inventory system by providing accurate and dynamic packaging-level tracking for each product. It ensures that only the valid packaging configurations (marked with “Packaging”) are considered during report generation, improving stock accuracy and warehouse control.
This feature helps inventory managers to monitor quantities across multiple packaging units (like boxes, cartons, and bundles) while maintaining data consistency between packaging and standard units of measure.
