The Global Reply-To Sender module is a smart and lightweight automation tool designed to enhance email communication in Odoo. By default, Odoo routes email replies back into its internal system (chatter) using a catch-all email address. However, in many business scenarios, you want your clients to reply directly to the original sender's personal or professional email inbox. This module creates a seamless Automated Action that triggers every time a new email (mail.mail) is generated. It dynamically reads the sender's email address (email_from) and strictly assigns it to the 'Reply-To' header. To ensure full control for the administrator, this feature is installed in an inactive state by default, allowing you to turn it on exactly when your business workflow requires direct sender-to-client email communication.
