How to Install Butterfly Backend Theme

Thank you for choosing our theme! You are here because you loved our theme, and we hope you enjoy using it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to install our backend theme in Odoo.

Step 1: Download the Theme

After purchasing the theme, Odoo will provide you with a download link. Click on that link to download the theme to your PC.

Step 2: Upload the Theme to Your Odoo Server

  • Extract the downloaded ZIP file.
  • Copy the content of the folder "Modules" inside your addons path.

Step 3: Update the App List

Update the App List: Click on the Update Apps List button to refresh the list of available modules. This will include your newly uploaded theme.

Step 4: Install the Theme

  1. Search for the Theme: In the Apps menu, search for the name of the theme
  2. Install the Theme: Click on the Install button next to the theme. Odoo will automatically install the theme and make it available for use.

Troubleshooting

  • Theme Not Showing Up: Make sure the theme folder is correctly placed in the addons directory and that you updated the app list.
  • Compatibility Issues: Ensure that the theme is compatible with your version of Odoo.

Is this available for community version only?

If I plan to change to Enterprise Edition, should I buy it again or use same module?
