[ MAIL MESSAGE EASY ]

This is an extension of [ Mail Message Easy ]

View and manage all Odoo messages just like with a regular email client

ALL THE FEATURES OF [ BASIC VERSION ] PLUS _

[ PRO FEATURES ]

  • Message preview pane
  • Send messages in e-mail mode using To, CC, BCC fields.
    Other followers will not be notified
  • Manage messages and notes directly in Chatter or Discuss threads:
    Edit or Delete Reply , Forward
  • Move messages to other thread/record
  • Flexible Chatter: Show/hide Messages, Notes, Notifications!
  • Assign message author if author was not detected automatically
  • Delete CRM Leads/Opportunities if no messages left except for notifications
  • Show lost messages
    Sometimes Odoo cannot determine target model/record for the message and such messages remain unassigned so users cannot see them.
    Meanwhile these messages can contain important information!
    Go to "Lost" menu in "Messages" where you can read all of them and move to proper record manually!
    Hint: Add user to group "Messages: View Lost Messages" to access lost messages. Go to "Settings->Users", open User's profile and set checkbox on this setting.

Dear Wes, This is a deeply customized view and logic for existing Odoo messaging systems with some extensions to make it more "human-friendly". It is designed initially to make Odoo as a single source for messaging. I'm using it myself for my projects and have several email accounts merged in Odoo. Still you particular setup will depend on you mailboxes and Odoo settings. You can contact us using email (see in module description) and provide more details so we can provide more precious solution.

Is this getting only internal Odoo email or can this be setup to get email from each of my users account via IMAP? I'm looking for a solution that polls the users GMail account for instance so they are not having to work in 2 different places.

Здравствуйте! Спасибо за модуль. Скажите, пожалуйста, можно ли его дополнить возможностью управлять записями, для которых изначально model=Null? Клиенты часто пишут менеджерам напрямую, на давно знакомый email и после установки модуля эти сообщения теряются.
