The tool does not require extra dependencies beside standard Odoo apps

This is the tool to avoid quick messaging mode in Odoo chatter. If in the most cases users require advanced styles or wanted to manage recipients, the app lets avoid an extra click by always opening the full composer view.

The tool works for the button 'Send message' under any Odoo document
As soon as the button 'Send message' is pressed, the app redirects to the full-featured pop-up email composer window
If the email composer is closed, it would be still possible to use quick messaging
The app does not change behavior of the button 'Log note'.

Great module! Works great for our use case.

I was looking for a module like this to use in v12 for quite some time. Odoo tools have great support! They told me they would be updating this and it was done ahead of schedule from what they said. They also listen to customer feedback. Best of all they have released it as a free module. We also use some of there other paid modules and they have been great.

the app works only for messages. Sorry, but we do not have the app to do the same for notes.
