When you create a dashboard, an action is created with name : Menu Name + "Action". So for example if you create a dashboard with name : Project Dashboard. Go to any user page -> Preference -> Home Action and can select action with name : Project Dashboard Action.

Yes, we have provided a feature to move and duplicate any item from one dashboard to another. When you mouseover any item you will see a copy icon or click on edit icon and from top center of screen there is Actions dropdown with options to move/duplicate items.
Pretty simple, just click on Gear like icon present at top right of screen and then click on edit layout option. Now, when you mouseover any tile or chart you will see resize icon at bottom right of item using which you can resize items as per your need.
No, it is not typical behavior for Dashboard Ninja to automatically change the layout of dashboards unless there are underlying customizations to the code, record rules, group access, or custom addons/themes on your server that may be conflicting with Dashboard Ninja.

An improvement over base dashboards
This is a slight improvement over base Odoo dashboards.
If you need very basic dashboards then this will work. However if you are a medium sized or larger manufacturer and you and need to dig into your data deeper, you will be frustrated with this.
My experience with this is as follows:
1) The AI is comically bad. It produces useless dashboards that need to be modified to show any usable information.
2) The templates are useless. They seem to be obsessed with country locations. Everything in the templates revolves around country location, which is very odd to me.
3) Support seems overwhelmed and frustrated which in turn makes them very short with you. They are more concerned with getting 5 stars then actually helping. Example: I had a strange issue that was an error on our part, after the very short tempered tech helped me, still connected to my screen, guided me to this review page and told me to leave a 5 star review. That should be a red flag right there.
4) There are currently a total of 9 "Dashboard Ninja's" available in the Odoo app store. How would you know which one to get? After asking support how to get a specific data set, they told me that I would need to use a different version of "Dashboard Ninja" and guess what? That is another 4-500$.
After reading these stellar reviews, I really thought I was getting the best dashboard package for my company, unfortunately this is a lot of fanfare but very little usable data.
Overall if you are a small operation and just need to get generic dashboards, this will work fine... but then again the base odoo dashboards will work fine too, so why not save $400 and just use that?

Should be a "goto" app for all Odoo Installations
Dashboard Ninja is really what the Odoo dashboard functionality should have been by default and is an essential app for your Odoo installation. The app allows you to create dashboards that are not only functional but also pleasing to look at. It utilizes the backend power of Odoo to create a variety of types of dashboards very easily. Once you get the hang of it, its a breeze to use.
Support is also very responsive when needed. I needed assistance on a issue creating a specific type of metric and they responded quickly and provided screen shots and videos to demonstrate the process. They also corrected a bug I found within a few days and got back to me with an updated version. Overall, this is one of the best apps for Odoo and in my opinion, certainly worth the cost.

The module provides very easy way to build reports. Also the support for the module is super. Support team is easy to connect even by phone and live session fro getting is possible. Personally I found a bug from the module, after reporting it the bug was fixed very quickly.

The main difference between Dashboard Ninja and Dashboard Ninja Advance is as that in Dashboard Ninja you will be able to fetch and show the data in any dashboard item from a single model only.
Whereas in Dashboard Ninja Advance it is possible for you to present your complex data in the form of Charts or list views on Dashboards with awesome query feature. You can write SQL query on its own to fetch records from multiple models. There are other interesting features present in Dashboard Ninja Advance like "TV Mode", "Multiple Layout of List View", "Send Dashboard through Email", etc.
In Dashboard Ninja Advance you will also get all the features of Dashboard Ninja as Dashboard Ninja Advance is dependent on Dashboard Ninja.

In the Dashboard Ninja, we have given the option to apply different colors on Charts and Tiles/KPI. You will get the same option under the "Display" tab of the item configuration.
In the Tile/KPI, you will be able to apply any color as per your need using the color picker and in the Charts, you will get 4 different types of Colors.
And we have also a separate module Dashboard Ninja Theme which provides other interesting color features for the dashboards.

We have baught Dashboard Ninja advanced , we are not able to print the dashboard as indicated in the documentation (very small). We tried many time to contact support without success. We are told that the support will contacts us we are waiting for 3 days.

You can achieve the same by creating an item related to Analytic account and perform the filtering and grouping as per your requirement.
Currently we are providing a paid standards template for Accounting i.e Accounting Dashboard Ninja, but into the same we do not have any specific item for Analytic account. But you can create the same by using custom query.

We have checked the concern that you have shared with us and from the logs it seems like you are using the older version of Dashboard Ninja in version 15. Because in the latest
version of dashboard ninja we have replaced folder "lib" to "common_lib".
So we recommend you to please upgrade the Dashboard Ninja with the latest version 15.0.1.2.5. Then your issue must be resolved.

Dashboard Ninja is available in both the versions (15 & 16) with the same features and functionality. So if you are using Odoo version 15 then you can go for Dashboard Ninja version 15. And as Odoo version 16 is recently launched and you are already using or planning for Odoo version 16, then you can purchase the Dashboard Ninja for version 16.
And the purpose of Dashboard Ninja is to visualize the data and filter the data based on the fields whose value is stored on the database. So if the Branches will belong to each of the models on your server and if it will be stored on your database, then yes you can filter the data based on the Branches.

Good app but very buggy
There is a very frustrating bug with this module. The layout/positioning of the charts in a dashboard keeps changing randomly. I spend hours trying to arrange the layout for a dashboard, then randomly it will get disorganized for no apparent reason. Then I have to fix and rearrange the layout again, wasting hours of precious time. Customer service has not been able to provide a solution for this problem.

The advanced dashboard is so powerful, GUI is straightforward and user-friendly.
The support team's response is terrific and perfect.
However, I wish for more chart format flexibility and more custom query data options.

This is best module I came across.
This is the best reporting tool till date I came across, where people of Ksolve is really helpful interms of quick resolution of query and very supportive in nature. Also the feature of module is really helpful to get the desire result.

If you're going to upgrade your odoo, don't buy it
The app is fine. But it's a scam, every time you update your odoo version you have to buy it again. Yes, you have to buy the same app, which does exactly the same in the other, but in another version of odoo version. Is this legit? Do you buy a Microsoft Office every time you upgrade your operating system? Would they charge you for an update driver?

Actually, this is not a scam. It is the standard policy of Odoo, that if you want to purchase any application in versions (13,14,15, and 16) then you need to purchase it separately.
So you want to upgrade the Dashboard Ninja to version 16 then you need to purchase it again for version 16. But in case you want to update the same version with the latest version then you do not need to pay anything for the same.
