Configure your SpeeDee carrier credentials including Primary Key, Secondary Key, Shipper Number, and default shipping settings such as service type (GROUND), package type, label format, and signature requirements.
Allow customers to select the SpeeDee shipping method during checkout on your e-commerce website.
Add SpeeDee GROUND shipping method directly from the Sales Order to calculate shipping costs based on customer location, shipment weight, and package dimensions.
Click to fetch a live SpeeDee GROUND shipping rate. The API returns the real-time rate, base charge, and package cost based on the configured origin, destination, weight, and dimensions.
The selected SpeeDee GROUND rate is automatically added to the Sales Order with the shipping amount displayed. The rate, base charge, and total shipping cost are all visible on the order.
Confirm the sales order to automatically trigger the warehouse delivery process and create the associated Delivery Order for SpeeDee shipping.
Create freight packages from the Delivery Order using Odoo's "Put in Pack" feature with configurable package types, weight, and dimensions for accurate SpeeDee shipment processing.
Validate the Delivery Order to automatically trigger shipment creation in SpeeDee. The system calls the SpeeDee Manifest API to create the shipment, generate the tracking barcode, and retrieve the shipping label.
Upon successful validation, the system automatically generates the shipping label and assigns a tracking number (barcode). The tracking reference, SpeeDee Tag ID, and Manifest ID are all stored on the Delivery Order for complete traceability.
Track your SpeeDee shipment in real-time with a single click. The tracking button opens the SpeeDee tracking portal with the assigned tracking number for complete shipment visibility.
Cancel a SpeeDee shipment directly from Odoo with a single click. The system sends a cancellation request to the SpeeDee API using the Manifest ID or Tag ID to void the shipment.
After successful cancellation, the shipment status is updated in Odoo. The SpeeDee API confirms the cancellation, and the delivery order reflects the cancelled state.
The carrier-approved shipping label is generated in your configured format (PDF, ZPL, or PNG) and automatically attached to the Delivery Order chatter, ready for printing and applying to your shipment.
