Microsoft Teams Notification Connector for Odoo
The Microsoft Teams Notification feature allows the system to automatically send updates to a Teams channel whenever selected task fields are created or modified in the Project module. This ensures that team members stay informed about important project changes without manual follow-ups.

Configuration
Seamlessly connect Odoo with Microsoft Teams for smart notifications. Keep your team aligned with real-time alerts directly inside Teams channels.
Grant Access to the Responsible User :
1. Go to → Settings → Users
2.
Open the user who will manage Teams notifications.
Enable the "Access For Configure Teams Notification" configuration for notification settings and
save the changes.
Note: Only authorized users should have access to webhook configuration to maintain security.
Configure Microsoft Teams Notifications :
3. Go to Project → Options → Configuration → Settings

Open the Settings tab and enter the Microsoft Teams Webhook URL in the designated field.
In Teams Notification Fields, select the task fields for which notifications should be sent
(e.g., Task Name, Assignee, Deadline, Priority, Stage) and save the configuration.
How It Works
5. When a task is created or a configured field is updated, the system automatically sends a notification to the selected Microsoft Teams channel.
6. Notifications are triggered only for the fields defined in the Teams Notification Fields setting.
