Why Sunu Petty Cash?
Paper slips, no validation, no receipts, no accounting trail — petty cash is an audit nightmare. Sunu Petty Cash brings structure, traceability and control to every cash operation, directly inside Odoo. Every movement is tracked, validated and posted to accounting automatically.
Key Features
Multiple Cash Boxes
Create and manage multiple cash boxes, each linked to its own accounting journal and account. Real-time balance computed from validated movements only.
Validation Workflows
Configurable thresholds trigger validation requirements. Movements below the threshold are auto-validated; above it they go through manager approval.
Automatic Accounting Entries
On validation, the system automatically creates and posts the journal entry — debit and credit lines with the correct accounts.
Receipt Enforcement
Configure a threshold above which receipts or invoices are mandatory. The system blocks submission if attachments are missing.
Live Dashboard
Real-time KPIs, 12-month bar chart, top users, and cash box status table. Period selector: Week / Month / Quarter / Year.
3-Level Security
User creates own moves. Manager validates and sees all moves. Administrator manages configuration and all operations.
Analytic Distribution
Assign analytic accounts to each movement for cost center tracking. Fully compatible with Odoo 17's analytic distribution widget.
Auto Numbering
Configurable sequences generate unique references (PC00001, PC00002...) for every movement automatically.
Movement Types
Collection (in)
Record money received — customer payments, reimbursements. Always auto-validated.
Disbursement (out)
Record petty expenses — office supplies, meals, taxi, etc. Subject to validation threshold.
Supply
Replenish the cash box from the main bank account. Always auto-validated.
Refund
Record refunds of previously disbursed amounts — employee reimbursements.
