Configuration
WhatsApp Integration Setup
We are integrating a module of our Odoo system with WhatsApp using Meta for Developers. This platform will facilitate the connection and seamless integration between both systems.

WhatsApp Service Provider:
Select the provider you are using for integration.
Example: Meta -
Meta Phone Number ID:
Enter the Phone Number ID assigned by Meta. This is used to send and receive WhatsApp messages.
Example: 103330236087682 -
Meta WhatsApp Business Account ID:
Provide your registered WhatsApp Business Account ID.
Example: 109457952133963 -
Meta API Token:
Paste your WhatsApp API Access Token. This is required to authenticate your Odoo system with Meta.
(Field will remain hidden for security.) -
Meta Webhook Verify Token:
Enter the token used to verify webhook communication between Meta and Odoo.
Example: 1005 -
Send Message Through Template
Enable this option if you want all outbound messages to be sent using pre-approved WhatsApp templates.
WhatsApp Integration Workflow

1. Initiate Customer Issues or Inquiries

Once the connection is established, customers can initiate issues or inquiries about
products or services of a business through WhatsApp chat.

The system will store conversations between the owner and customer.

Send a Meta template text message depending on the state of the ticket.

Open any stage and add the WhatsApp template.

Note: In the WhatsApp Template field, only templates that apply to the specific model will be shown.
