Analytic Accounting in Users
Enable Analytic Accounting group for the login user.
Budgets
Navigate to Budgets under Accounting in Accounting module.
Alert: Warning
Choose the Alert type as Warning Message in budget line.
Warning Display
Generate a bill with an order line surpassing the budget, selecting the relevant Analytic Distribution. Despite a warning, confirmation of the move is still possible.
Alert: Stop/ Restrict
Choose the Alert type as Stop/ Restrict in budget line.
Validation Display
Generate a bill for an order line exceeding the budget, selecting the appropriate Analytic Distribution. A warning will appear, and confirmation of the move will not be possible.
Raise alert if purchase amount exceed budget and the alert type is Stop/ Restrict.
Shows warning if purchase amount exceed budget and the alert type is Warning Message.
If a purchase order amount goes beyond the defined budget, the system checks the alert type you set on the budget line.
Yes. Users must have Analytic Accounting enabled and the budget must be configured under Accounting → Budgets. Alerts are triggered based on the budget’s analytic distribution and the alert type configured for each budget line.
