Fiscal receipts, without slowing the queue
Because the VSDC runs locally, the declaration is attempted the instant an order is validated — so the RRA receipt number, signature and QR print on the customer receipt. If the VSDC is momentarily unreachable, the order is queued and retried; the cashier is never blocked.
Signature on the paper
The rcptSign, receipt number, SDC ID and MRC print on the customer receipt, with a QR that verifies the sale on the RRA portal.
Synchronous, then resilient
Declared inline against the local VSDC for the receipt; falls back to the resilient queue if the VSDC is briefly down.
Refunds handled
POS refunds are declared as refunds (rcptTyCd R) referencing the original order — the same clean flow as invoicing.

A business buyer can be attached to the sale so their TIN travels with the declaration, which is what makes the receipt claimable.
Every payment method, unchanged
Cash, card, mobile money and split payments all work as they did. The payment type is derived and sent with the declaration.
A compliant receipt, printed at the counter
This is the point of the app: the customer walks away with a receipt carrying the RRA signature, internal data, SDC ID and MRC number that make it a valid Rwandan fiscal receipt.
Past sales stay reachable from the till
A cashier can find an earlier order and reprint its receipt without going to the back office — the fiscal block reprints with it.
Each order keeps its RRA record
Back office, every POS order carries the same declaration block an invoice does — receipt number, signature, SDC and MRC.
A day of trading and its declaration state
The POS order list shows the RRA state of every sale in the session, so a supervisor can close the day knowing what did and did not reach the authority.
The signature the receipt was printed from
The values printed on the customer’s receipt are stored on the order, so a reprint or a dispute is answerable months later.
A till that keeps selling when the VSDC does not
If the local VSDC is unreachable the sale still completes and the declaration queues. Retail cannot stop because a device is down.
