Installation
To install the module, you need to go to the Apps menu and remove the filter from the search bar and type the module name pragtech_hrms_leave_trend_analysis, and click on the Activate button.

Configuration
Navigate to Settings > General Settings. Here you can see the “AI Credentials” section and the “OpenAI API Key” field. Need to set the API Key here. You can get the API Key from “ https://platform.openai.com/settings/organization/api-keys “ here.

Workflow
Now go to the “Employees” application.

You can see an “AI Analyse” menu over here. In that menu, there is a submenu called “Leave Trend Analysis”. Click on it and create a new record.

Provide the “Report Name”. If a name is not available, a default name will be generated.

Then select the period from this selection field

Here we can see the default name appears in the “Report Name” field, and we have selected the “Full Record” duration. In the Date and Time, it shows the record creation date and time. Now, click the “Generate Report” button to create a new record.

In the “AI Analysis” section, we can see the detailed AI analysis of the leave trend. The AI will identify trends in leave usage across different departments and periods, using the name, department, leave type, leave start date, leave end date, and leave status of all employees.

Here, we have a “Chart Type” option available. We can choose the chart option here. By default, it shows the bar chart

This module enables AI-powered analysis of employee leave trends within the Odoo HRMS system. It helps HR departments visualize and understand patterns in employee leave usage across departments and time periods, using advanced AI models.
Go to the “Apps” menu in Odoo, remove any default filters from the search bar, and type in “pragtech_hrms_leave_trend_analysis”. Once the module appears, click on the “Activate” button to install it.
Navigate to “Settings > General Settings” in Odoo. Under the “AI Credentials” section, enter your OpenAI API key in the “OpenAI API Key” field. You can obtain your API key from [https://platform.openai.com/settings/organization/api-keys](https://platform.openai.com/settings/organization/api-keys).
Go to the “Employees” application, then open the “AI Analyse > Leave Trend Analysis” submenu. Click “Create”, enter a “Report Name” (or let it auto-generate), select the desired “Period”, and click the “Generate Report” button. The AI will process and display the trend analysis in the “AI Analysis” section.
The analysis is based on key fields such as “employee name”, “department”, “leave type”, “start and end dates of leave”, and “leave status”. The AI model uses this information to identify patterns and trends.
Yes, in the analysis view, you can choose the “Chart Type” to display the results. By default, it shows a “bar chart”, but other chart options are also available for better visualization.
