SCS Project Task Portal Assignee
This module extends the task assignment functionality in Odoo Projects by allowing both Internal Users and Portal Users to appear in the Assignees field of project tasks. By default, Odoo restricts task assignment to internal users only, but this module updates the behavior so that portal users can also be selected and assigned to tasks. This makes it easier for organizations to collaborate with external users such as clients or partners through the portal while maintaining the standard project workflow.

Configure Portal Access for User
Path :- Settings → Users & Companies → Users → Access Rights → Role / Portal
This screen shows the user configuration where the Portal role can be enabled for a user. Assigning the Portal role allows the user to access the system through the portal and makes them available for task assignment when using this module.
Assign Portal Users to Project Tasks
Path :- Project → Tasks → Open Task → Assignees
This screen shows the task form where users can assign a task using the Assignees field. With this module, both internal users and portal users are available in the dropdown, allowing tasks to be assigned to external collaborators as well.
