FEATURES

  • Create Timesheet: Create timesheet for your work in a time period
  • Submit/Approve/Reject Timesheet: You can submit timesheet to someone to approve/reject
  • Auto Create Blank Timesheet: Option to create blank timesheet at the start of each week or month
HOW IT WORKS

Timesheet Workflow

  • arrow Go to Employee Timesheet, create new Timesheet
  • arrow Create Work Entries, either date entries or work detail entries
    Click on Show entries button to change between 2 lists, inside each date entry will also include work details entries
    • Create Work Date

    • Create Work Details


      Created work details are also linked to each date entry
  • Submit the timesheet, once submitted, an email will be sent to the approver for notice

  • The approver can approve/reject the timesheet

    Once done, an email will be sent to the submitter to notice

User Roles

  • arrow Employee: Regular user, allowed to create timesheet and submit timesheet
  • arrow Manager: Allowed to approve/reject timesheets
  • arrow Administrator: Allowed all rights, as well as configurations
If set as Manager/Administrator, user's Project role should be set as Administrator to allow the approver to read Project records

Configurations

As Administrator, go to Employee Timesheets > Configurations
  • arrow Timesheet Period: Set default timesheet period for creating timesheet or for auto creation; when you set first date in period, the default end date will be set based on this configuration
  • arrow Include Weekends: Works with timesheet period configuration, skips weekends if disabled
  • arrow Schedule Auto Create Timesheets: At the start of each week/month, creates a new timesheet for the time period

Reports

  • arrow As Manager/Administrator, go to Employee Timesheet > Reporting, you can choose to see timesheets list or see reporting pivot views (only for approved sheets)


  • arrow Go to a record, click Print Timesheet
