1. Create Timesheet

Allows users to create a timesheet for a specific time period.

Users can log their daily working hours, tasks performed, and add relevant notes.

This feature helps track work progress and productivity over time.

2. Submit / Approve / Reject Timesheet

Once completed, users can submit their timesheet to a manager or designated approver.

The approver can either approve or reject the timesheet, optionally adding feedback.

This ensures accountability and proper verification of work hours.

3. Auto Create Blank Timesheet

Automatically generates a blank timesheet at the beginning of each week or month.

This ensures users always have a timesheet ready to fill in, reducing the chance of missed entries and improving workflow efficiency.

1. Timesheet Workflow

Go to Employee Timesheet, create new Timesheet.

Create Work Entries, either date entries or work detail entries

Click on Show entries button to change between 2 lists, inside each date entry will also include work details entries

Create Work Details: Created work details are also linked to each date entry

Submit the timesheet, once submitted, an email will be sent to the approver for notice

The approver can approve/reject the timesheet

Once done, an email will be sent to the submitter to notice

2. User Roles

Employee: Regular user, allowed to create timesheet and submit timesheet.

Manager: Allowed to approve/reject timesheets.

Administrator: Allowed all rights, as well as configurations.

→ If set as Manager/Administrator, user's Project role should be set as Administrator to allow the approver to read Project records.

3. Configurations

As Administrator, go to Employee Timesheets > Configurations.

Timesheet Period: Set default timesheet period for creating timesheet or for auto creation; when you set first date in period, the default end date will be set based on this configuration.

Include Weekends: Works with timesheet period configuration, skips weekends if disabled.

Schedule Auto Create Timesheets: At the start of each week/month, creates a new timesheet for the time period.

4. Reports

As Manager/Administrator, go to Employee Timesheet > Reporting, you can choose to see timesheets list or see reporting pivot views (only for approved sheets).

Go to a record, click Print Timesheet
