SchoolOS - Data Import
Bulk CSV / XLSX import wizards for the high-volume SchoolOS records - Students | Employees / Staff | Parents / Guardians - with per-row validation, duplicate skipping and a downloadable template per importer.
SchoolOS Data Import gives registrars and administrators fast, safe bulk onboarding for the records that arrive in spreadsheets every term. Upload a CSV or XLSX, choose your delimiter and target school, and the wizard maps columns, creates Students, Employees / Staff and Parents / Guardians, skips duplicates, and accumulates every bad row into a clear result log instead of crashing the whole import. Each importer ships a downloadable CSV template so your data lines up the first time - all writing into the same unified SchoolOS records used across the suite, with no duplicate data entry.

Students import in Draft so the parent National-ID rule is not tripped - or require IDs and import active.
Smart Column Aliases
Common header variants (name/first_name, email/work_email, dob/date_of_birth) are recognised automatically.
Multi-School Aware
Pick the target school for each import so records land in the right scope from the start.
Role-Based Access
Available to Super Admin, Principal, Registrar and HR Manager roles only.
