Website Quote Request Instead of Cart enables businesses to replace direct online purchases with a quotation-based sales process for their eCommerce store. Customers can request a quotation instead of placing an order, making it ideal for products that require personalised pricing or sales assistance. Very useful for B2B, machinery, wholesale, and custom products. Configure the feature for all products or only selected products. For quote-enabled products, the module replaces the Add to Cart button with Request a Quote, hides product prices, and automatically creates a CRM lead, allowing sales teams to efficiently manage and respond to customer quote requests.

01 Navigate to Settings → Companies, under the Request a Quote Instead of Add to Cart tab, enable the feature and choose whether it applies to All Products or Specific Products. Selecting All Products makes every product available for Request a Quote, regardless of its individual product setting.
02 If Request a Quote Applies To is set to Specific Products, select the required products, open the Actions menu, and click Update Request a Quote Product.
03 In the Update Request a Quote Product popup, choose Enable or Disable, then click Apply. This setting is used only when Request a Quote Applies To is set to Specific Products
04 Alternatively, enable or disable the Request a Quote Product option from the product form. This setting is applicable only when Request a Quote Applies To is set to Specific Products.
05 On the Shop page, products enabled for Request a Quote display a Request a Quote button instead of Add to Cart, and their prices are hidden.
06 On the website product page, eligible products display a Request a Quote button instead of Add to Cart.
07 After submitting the request, a confirmation message is displayed indicating that the quote request has been successfully submitted.
08 Each quote request automatically creates a CRM Lead with the customer details, selected product, requested quantity, and expected revenue, allowing the sales team to review and follow up on the request.
09 The Request a Quote option is also available from the Wishlist page, allowing customers to submit quote requests.
10 Quote requests submitted from the Wishlist also automatically create a CRM Lead, allowing the sales team to track and follow up on the request.
