The module also supports enhanced conversions, using hashed first‑party customer data collected on your site to improve the accuracy of conversion measurement in a privacy‑safe way. Conversion Setup
Conversion tracking in Google Ads helps you evaluate the effectiveness of your advertising and shows what actions customers take after clicking an ad.
To start tracking conversions, create a conversion action in Google Ads and a corresponding custom event in Odoo.
Google Ads Conversions
To create a new conversion action in Google Ads, complete the following steps.
In your Google Ads account, navigate to Goals — Summary and click Create conversion action.
Select Conversions on a website as the data source for measuring conversions.
Paste your Odoo website URL into the field and click Scan.
After scanning, select Google Tag as the data source, click Done, and then click Save and Continue.
Select the goal category for this conversion action.
Select the Manually with Code option.
Fill in the conversion action details in the Conversion Settings section:
- Enter the conversion name.
- Select Use different values for each conversion to record specific values for each event. This value is passed from Odoo and equals the product price or sales order total depending on the tracking event type.
- Enable Enhanced Conversions.
- Configure the remaining parameters as needed, or keep the default values.
Click Done, then click Save and Continue.
Next, click See event snippet to obtain the conversion name and destination ID.

- Navigate to Website — Configuration — Websites
- Open the website on the Enhanced Tracking tab
- Enable the Add to Cart on Click option
