Question about custom SQL
When using custom SQL query, it's possible to refer selected start date and end date by using special variables %(ks_start_date)s and %(ks_end_date)s. This is a great feature! My question is: Is there a way to refer any other custom filters user has possibly selected?

As you want to show only the current user i.e. login user data on the dashboard items using Dashboard Ninja Advance then you can use this {#UID} in the SQL query.
E.g : Select * from sale_order where user_id = {#UID}
You can get the data of the current Company from SQL query also, you can use {#MYCOMPANY} inside SQL query for the default company.

You will require the API Key to use the AI functionality of Dashboard Ninja. And you can use this AI functionality in localhost as well.
So in order to get the API Key, you need to go to Settings and inside the General Settings, you will get the option to fill the email ID. So just insert your email id and send it, and you will receive the API Key in your email. You need to fill that Key in the "Dashboard AI API Key" field.

In the Dashboard Ninja, we have given the option to apply different colors on Charts and Tiles/KPI. You will get the same option under the "Display" tab of the item configuration.
In the Tile/KPI, you will be able to apply any color as per your need using the color picker and in the Charts, you will get 4 different types of Colors.

Dashboard Ninja is the base module in which we have given the option to show the data from the single model only in any dashboard item.
Whereas Dashboard Ninja Advance is the advanced version of Dashboard Ninja and it is also dependent on Dashboard Ninja but it comes with some extra functionalities. Like in Dashboard Ninja Advance, we have given SQL query feature using which you will be able to fetch and show data from multiple models.
Dashboard Ninja Advance has some other interesting features like TV mode, multiple layouts for list view item, send dashboard as PDF through Emai, etc.

We have checked the concern that you have shared with us and it seems like that you are using the older version of Dashboard Ninja Advance with Dashboard Ninja.
So we recommend you to please upgrade both Dashboard Ninja and Dashboard Ninja Advance with the latest version. Currently we are using the latest version for Dashboard Ninja is 14.0.1.9.0 and for Dashboard Ninja Advance 14.0.1.4.1.
As you have commented on Dashboard Ninja Advance version 16 and the release version that you have shared with us is for version 14. So please ensure to use
the Dashboard Ninja and Advance with the same odoo version for which you have bought.

Excellent tool, I recommend it
This advanced version has many advantages for creating custom reports.
SQL queries allowed me to solve KPIs and very advanced queries. It recognizes SQL views. I recommend it.
The support is very good, and timely.

A powerful module, with very good support and assistance
The Ninja Advance is built on top of the "standard" Ninja. The standard Ninja is already very flexible in defining reports: to my surprise a number of reports where originally I expected to have to write custom SQL commands could be done using the standard. But the requirements also asked for rather complicated SQL commands. The custom SQL reports fits very well in the overall concept - mixing both the standard and custom SQL commands in one dashboard. Well done.
