Petrol Station Tanks
Wetstock under control. Fuel tanks as real stock locations, live volume and fill percentage, dip readings with a book-stock snapshot and variance, and a supervisor-gated one-click stock adjustment against your company threshold.
Live litres and fill percentage per tank, computed from real stock — never a number typed by hand.
Variance on every dip reading, measured against a book-stock snapshot taken the moment you confirm.
One click turns a confirmed dip into a full inventory adjustment — supervisor-gated, logged to the chatter.
Physical litres vs book stock, reconciled
Every screenshot below is a real screen from a working Odoo 18 install — verified end-to-end on our live demo.

Every tank, live level and fill
One list shows every tank with its code, station warehouse, fuel type, capacity, live current volume and a fill-percentage bar — plus an Active / Maintenance / Out of Service badge. Rows turn amber under 20% and red under 10%, so you reorder before a tank runs dry.

Native Inventory, not a bolt-on
A tank is a genuine stock location flagged Is Fuel Tank, sitting under the station's warehouse. That means the standard Current Stock, Products and Dip Readings smart buttons all work, and every delivery in, sale out and adjustment updates the tank automatically — no parallel spreadsheet.

Fuel, capacity, calibration in one tab
The Tank Details tab holds the fuel type — Petrol (PMS), Diesel (AGO), Kerosene (DPK), LPG or CNG — the fuel product, tank type (underground or above ground), capacity with min and max safe levels, a live fill-percentage bar, manufacturer, installation date and last / next calibration dates. A guard even blocks a volume above capacity.

Book-stock snapshot and variance alert
Enter the physical dip and the reading snapshots the system's book stock, computes the variance in litres and percent, and posts a warning to the chatter when it exceeds your company threshold (here -0.55% against a 0.50% limit). Confirming locks the tank, volume and measurements so the number cannot drift afterwards.

One click brings stock to reality
When the dip is right and the book stock is wrong, the supervisor-only Adjust Stock button runs a proper inventory adjustment on the tank in one click — elevated so ordinary petrol staff never need Inventory rights. The chatter records "Stock adjusted to 21880.00 L" and the reading moves to Adjusted.

Opening, closing, delivery, manual
Every reading is typed — Opening, Closing, After Delivery or Manual Check — and can carry the recorder, verifier, shift, dip height, water height and temperature. Each state change and variance warning is written to the chatter, giving you a clean, dated wetstock reconciliation history per tank.
Live in an afternoon
Petrol Station → Operations → Tanks: add each tank under its station, tick Is Fuel Tank, assign the fuel product and set capacity plus min / max levels. Live volume and fill percentage appear at once from real stock.
Record a dip, confirm it (book stock snapshots, variance computed, threshold checked), and when the physical reading is authoritative a supervisor clicks Adjust Stock to bring the tank to reality — a clean, chatter-logged reconciliation trail.
