This app allow you to do process costing (Material Cost, Labour Cost, Overheads) for By-Products in manufacturing orders.
-
Key Points :
This app allow Auto Update Cost Price on Direct Material Cost, Direct Labour Cost, Direct Overhead Cost on Bill of Materials when Cost Price on Product Form changed. So when cost of product changes then system will automatically updated all related BOM's Direct Material Cost, Direct Labour Cost, Direct Overhead Cost. So changes on product cost will update cost on BOM's Direct Material Cost, Direct Labour Cost, Direct Overhead Cost tabs.
-
Key Points :
This app allow you to create accounting entries for process costing (Material Cost, Labour Cost, Overheads) for manufacturing orders.
-
Key Points :
This app allows your work order users to open the work order process costing from the tablet screen and update the actual qty if they want to update directly from the work order process costing form as shown in the below screenshots.
-
Key Points :
This module simplifies production tracking by allowing shop floor users to instantly log the actual quantities of materials, labour hours, and overhead units used during manufacturing. Instead of relying on static estimates, users use a simple "Shopfloor Wizard" at their specific Work Center to record real-time usage, which then automatically updates both the Work Order and the parent Manufacturing Order. This ensures that your inventory and production logs always reflect the reality of the factory floor, making it easy to see exactly how much was planned versus how much was actually consumed at every step.
-
Key Points :
This app integrates manufacturing with job costing sheets, displaying manufacturing quantities directly within the costing sheet while allowing users to select the job cost center and cost line directly on the manufacturing order form. Industries engaged in discrete or process manufacturing, engineering projects, custom fabrication, and industrial services can greatly benefit from this Job Costing Sheet with MRP Manufacturing Integration app. Businesses in sectors like machinery production, automotive components, metalworks, aerospace, electronics assembly, and even construction manufacturing often face challenges in tracking real-time production costs against specific projects or jobs. This app bridges that gap by seamlessly integrating job costing with manufacturing orders. It allows users to assign job cost centers and lines directly on the manufacturing order form, giving accurate visibility into material, labor, and overhead costs. The result is improved cost tracking, better budget control, and informed decision-making throughout the production lifecycle.

Key Points :
End-to-End Manufacturing Order Process Costing Workflow (Material, Labor & Overhead)
The workflow represents a complete end-to-end manufacturing process costing cycle integrated with project management and job cost sheet tracking, covering material, labor, and overhead costs. The process can be initiated through multiple sources such as a sales order (on-demand), inventory replenishment (make-to-stock), or manual creation. Based on these triggers, a manufacturing order is created, where the Bill of Materials defines the estimated material, labor, and overhead costs, forming the baseline for process costing.
In parallel, when the process is project-driven, a project is created and a job cost sheet is prepared to monitor the financial and operational performance. This job cost sheet is dynamically linked with manufacturing activities, allowing it to capture real-time updates of actual quantities and costs. The financial cycle continues with customer invoicing and payment processing, ensuring that revenue is aligned with project execution and production progress.
Once the manufacturing order is confirmed, the system generates work orders that define the step-by-step shop floor operations. During execution, material consumption is recorded, and operators perform production activities while logging actual quantities for material, labor, and overhead. This data can be captured either through the shop floor interface or via a tablet-based process costing form, ensuring accurate and real-time data entry.
As production progresses, the system automatically updates the manufacturing order with actual consumed quantities and costs. These updates are also reflected in the job cost sheet, providing a clear comparison between estimated and actual costs. This ensures full transparency and control over production efficiency and cost deviations at both manufacturing and project levels.
In addition to cost tracking, the accounting integration plays a crucial role in this workflow. Based on the configuration of process costing accounting templates, the system prepares journal entries for material, labor, and overhead costs. These templates allow defining debit and credit accounts and selecting whether accounting entries should be generated automatically upon manufacturing order completion or manually by the user. Once the manufacturing order is completed, the system posts the corresponding journal entries in the accounting module, capturing the total actual costs and ensuring proper financial impact in the general ledger.
Finally, after all work orders are completed and costs are fully recorded, the manufacturing order is marked as done. At this stage, all costing data, job cost sheet updates, and accounting entries are finalized. The workflow concludes with a fully integrated view of manufacturing operations, project costing, and financial accounting, enabling accurate cost analysis, profitability tracking, and audit-ready financial records.
