Installation
Install this module to enable the CRM Instagram Lead Integration feature for your business.
Configuration
Enable Instagram Account and Add Credentials: Go to CRM → Settings and check the boolean for “Instagram Account”. Paste your Instagram App ID and App Secret to authorize the integration.
Open Social Dashboard: Navigate to the Social Dashboard menu from the main Odoo interface.
Link Instagram Account: Click on Instagram Dashboard. You will see the installed module here. To authenticate, click the “Link Account” button. A wizard will open where you can enter the Instagram credentials to link the account.
Select Instagram Page: After entering credentials, you will be prompted to select one or more Instagram pages to link. Choose the page you want and click Done.
Confirm Authentication: You will be redirected to a confirmation page. Click OK to complete the authentication process. Once authentication is successful, a confirmation message will appear on the screen.
Confirmation Message: After successful authentication, a confirmation message will be displayed on the screen, indicating that your Instagram account has been successfully linked with Odoo and is ready for lead integration.
Access Instagram Page Details: Go to Social Dashboard → Configuration → Instagram Pages to view details such as Page Name, Social Media, Media Type, Instagram Page ID, and Access Token.
Create or Manage Instagram Pages in Odoo: To add or manage pages manually, go to CRM → Configuration → Instagram Pages, click Create, and select the existing page.
Fetch Lead Forms: Click the “Fetch Form” button for the selected page. All lead generation forms associated with the page will be loaded into Odoo.
Map Lead Fields: Navigate to CRM → Configuration → Instagram Forms. Open the Instagram form view and click “Get Fields” to fetch the Instagram fields. Map the existing Odoo fields with the fetched Instagram fields.
Validate Form Mapping: After mapping the fields, click Validate Form to activate the form for lead capture.
Fetch Leads: To fetch leads manually, go to Settings → Technical → Scheduled Actions. Select “Fetch Instagram Leads” Scheduled Action (Cron) and click Run Manually. Leads will also be fetched automatically by this cron every 1 hour.
Workflow
Lead Creation: Leads will be fetched into Odoo with the respective mapped fields. Each lead is created with both mapped and unmapped fields, along with complete tracking information. For more detailed information about Instagram integration, refer to the “Instagram Info” page.
