SCS Indian Govt Pay Matrix
Implements the CPC Pay Matrix structure directly in Odoo Payroll enabling government organizations, public sector bodies, and educational institutions to manage employee salaries accurately by Pay Level and Cell.

Matrix Integration
Implements the official Pay Commission pay matrix structure directly in Odoo. Each pay matrix entry maps a Level and Cell/Index to a specific basic pay amount, with support for effective dates making it easy to manage pay revisions over time.
Auto-Sync
When an HR version is linked to a pay matrix line, the version's wage is automatically updated to match the matrix's basic pay both on selection (via onchange) and at payslip computation time. This eliminates manual wage entry and ensures payslip accuracy.
History Tracking
Every time a version is created or updated with a new pay matrix line, a history record is automatically logged against the employee. This gives HR teams a full audit trail of an employee's pay level progression over time.

Date-Aware Lookup
The system automatically identifies the correct pay scale for an employee based on a specific date, ensuring that any pay revisions or matrix updates are applied accurately without manual intervention.
Unique Constraint
Each pay level and cell combination is protected against duplicate entries, guaranteeing clean and conflict-free payroll data even when managing multiple pay matrix revisions across different time periods.
Compute Override
Before every payslip is generated, the system performs a final validation to ensure the employee's wage is perfectly aligned with the official pay matrix, delivering accurate and consistent payslip outputs every time.

Employee Versions are directly linked to the Government Pay Matrix, automatically pulling the correct wage based on the assigned Pay Level and Cell with built-in support for annual increments and scheduled progression.
