Website Smart Popups enables you to create and manage multiple website popups from a single place in Odoo. Configure Newsletter, First Order Coupon, Exit Intent, Time Delay, Cart Abandonment, and Country-Based popups to engage visitors. Easily activate or deactivate each popup based on your requirements. Capture newsletter subscribers, generate first-order coupons, recover abandoned carts, and display country-specific popup content to your website visitors. 01 Navigate to Website → Configuration → Website Popups to access the popup management screen. It allows you to create and manage different types of website popups, including Newsletter, First Order Coupon, Exit Intent, Time Delay, Cart Abandonment, and Country-Based popups.
02 Select Newsletter Subscription as the Popup Type, choose the Mailing List where subscriber email addresses should be added.
03 The Newsletter popup is automatically displayed on the Shop and Product pages, allowing visitors to subscribe by entering their email address.
04 After a successful subscription, the visitor's email address is automatically added to the selected Mailing List.
05 Select Exit Intent as the Popup Type to display a lead capture popup when a visitor shows exit intent
06 When a visitor shows exit intent on the Shop or Product page, the Exit Intent popup is displayed, allowing them to submit their contact details and requirements for follow-up.
07 After the visitor submits the Exit Intent form, a CRM Lead is automatically created with the submitted contact details and requirement.
08 Select First Order Coupon as the Popup Type and choose the Coupon Program that should be used to generate a coupon code for eligible first-time customers.
09 Configure the Coupon Program with the required rules and rewards. In this example, customers receive a 10% discount on their first order when they purchase at least one product.
10 The First Order Coupon popup appears on the Cart page and displays a unique coupon code. Customers can copy the code and apply it during the cart or checkout process to receive the first-order discount.
11 Enter the generated coupon code in the Gift Card or Discount Code field and click Apply. The first-order discount is automatically applied, and the updated order total is displayed.
12 Select Time Delay as the Popup Type, specify the delay time in seconds, and configure the popup message and image.
13 After the configured time delay has elapsed, the popup is automatically displayed to website visitors with the configured message and image.
14 Select Cart Abandonment as the Popup Type and configure the popup message and image.
15 If the customer has items in the cart, the Cart Abandonment popup is displayed while browsing the Shop or Product pages to remind them about their cart.
16 Select Country Based as the Popup Type, then configure one or more countries and define the popup content for each country or country group. The appropriate popup is displayed to website visitors based on their detected country.
17 When a visitor accesses the website from the United States, the system automatically displays the Black Friday Shopping Starts Now popup.
18 When a visitor accesses the website from France, Germany, or Spain, the system automatically displays the Winter Season Sale popup.
