Odoo Google Meet Integration

Odoo is an Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) system which includes CRM, Inventory, Warehouse etc. Google Meet is a video-communication service developed by Google. It is one of two apps that constitute the replacement for Google Hangouts, the other being Google Chat. Odoo and Google Meet Integration help out to synchronize all meeting events including attendees with customize CronJob Settings options.

Installation

  • Download ODOO Google Meet Integration module and place into addons directory
  • Restart Odoo server / service
  • Open setting, activate Developer Mode
  • Go to Apps
  • Update Apps List from top menu
  • Search the Meet and install it
  • Happy to use Google Meet Integration


How Its Work


  • Login to Google Account
  • Go to Google Developer Console
  • Create new project

  • Fill Project name field
  • Click on Create button

  • Config OAuth Consent
  • Go to OAuth Consent Screen
  • Select External option
  • Click on Click button

  • Fill Application name field
  • Select Support email from options

  • Fill Developer Support email addresses
  • Click on Save & Continue button

  • Optional Scope options

  • Click on Save & Continue button

  • Optional add Test users
  • Click on Save & Continue button

  • Review all project information
  • Click on Back to Dashboard button

  • Click on Publish App button

  • Create credentials account
  • Click on Credentials

  • Click on Create Credentials button

  • Select Application type (Web Application)
  • Fill Application Name

  • Add Redirect URI, which will redirect back after authorization
  • Fill in the Redirect URI like [ODOO-URL]/google_success
  • Click on Create button

  • Collect information from credentials (ClientID, ClientSecret, RedirectURI)

  • Enable Google Calendar API permission from Google Developer Console

  • Install ODOO Google Meet Integration
  • Go to Google Meet from menu
  • Fill credential values collected from Google Developer Console
  • Click on Connect button
  • It will open an authorization page
  • After authentication, it will redirect to Redirect-URI(ODOO page).


  • Select Google Meet option
  • Select Filtration option include Meeting Create, Update, Start and End datetime
  • Adjust the Start and End datetime
  • Click the Sync button

  • Go to Calendar
  • Click to Meeting View
  • Create new meetings

  • Select specific meeting
  • There is a section named as Google Meet
  • All information related to Google Meet here like Join URL, Meet Code etc
  • Note: All information available when you use Export or Import feature
