This module enhances the Odoo chatter by allowing users to pin important messages or log notes for quick visibility,making it easier to find key information in long conversation threads. Users can pin or unpin messages with a single click. The module works with all models that use chatter (mail.thread) and uses the native pinned_at field for efficient message management.

1. Pin Messages in Chatter
After installing the module, open any record that includes the chatter feature. For example, navigate to a Sales record and check the chatter section. You will notice a pin icon displayed next to each message. To pin an important message, simply click the pin icon beside that message, and it will be pinned at top of all messages.
2. View Pinned Messages
Once a message is pinned, it will appear at the top of the chatter above all other messages. This makes important notes or instructions easy to locate without scrolling through the entire conversation, as shown in the attached image.
3. Jump to the Original Message
When you hover over a pinned message in the Pinned Messages section at the top of the chatter, a Jump button will appear, as shown in the image below. Clicking this button will automatically redirect you to the original message within the chatter thread, where it will be highlighted for easy identification.
4. Use Cases
With this tool, you can pin important chatter messages such as key instructions, important notes, approvals, invoice-related discussions, or any critical updates. This ensures that essential information remains easily accessible at the top of the chatter for quick reference.
