Configure Portal Chat Access for Internal Users
To allow portal users to communicate with an internal user, enable the Portal Can Message option on the internal user's form. This field is available only for internal users and controls whether they can receive messages from portal users.

Portal users can communicate directly with internal users and other portal users through the integrated chat feature. When the Portal Can Message option is enabled for an internal user, portal users can initiate real-time conversations from their portal dashboard. The chat interface is fully integrated into the Odoo portal, providing a simple and efficient way to manage communications in one place.
