Mass Attachment Download (Chatter + Binary Fields) | ZIP Export Tool

Managing attachments across multiple records can quickly become time-consuming and inefficient when handled manually. This module provides a powerful and user-friendly solution to download multiple attachments in bulk as a single ZIP file directly from the list view in any model.
With this module, users can select multiple records from any model and instantly download all related attachments including record files, binary fields, and chatter attachments packaged into a single compressed ZIP file.

1. Default Bulk attachment ZIP Configuration.

After installing the module, navigate to Settings -> General Settings. In the Bulk Attachment ZIP section, you can configure the following options:
Maximum Total Size (MB): Set the maximum allowed size for the ZIP file.
Maximum Files Per ZIP: Define the maximum number of files to include in a single ZIP archive.

2. Download All File Option.

To download all files associated with a record, go to any model and select a record. In the Action dropdown, you will find the Download All Files option. This allows you to download a ZIP archive of all attached files.

3. Before Downloading the ZIP File.

When you click Download All Files, a pop-up window will appear displaying the list of all files, along with their total count and size. You can also refresh the file list before proceeding to download the ZIP file.

4. File Limit Configuration.

In the settings, you can specify the File Limit for downloads. For example, we’ve configured a file limit of 3 files per ZIP.

5. File Validation.

If you attempt to download a ZIP file with more than the allowed number of files, the system will prevent the download. For instance, here we try to download 5 files but the file limit is set to 3, the system will notify you and prevent the download.

6. Total File Size Limit Configuration.

In the settings, you can also configure a Total File Size Limit for the ZIP file. For example, the total file size limit can be set to 10 MB.

7. Total File Size Limit Validation.

When attempting to download a ZIP file that exceeds the configured file size limit, the system will prevent the download. For instance, if the total file size exceeds 10 MB, as shown in the example with 17.57 MB, the download will be blocked.
