POS Cashier Password Reset

Working Process
Configuration
Configuration is very easy, here we will do two configuration:
Set Password(Pin code) for Employee Allow multi cashier
Set password (Pin Code)
First go to the Employee module â open Employee â go to HR
settings and set Pin code for employee.This PIN code will work as
the employee's login password when working as a cashier. Repeat the
process for all cashier Refer to the given image to do this
step.
Select Multi employee per session
To select Multiple employee as a cashier go to POS â dashboard â
New session â click on 3 dot then edit Here select all employees in
the allowed employee section.


Select cashier
To select the cashier follow these simple step:
POSâdashboardâ new sessionâ open new sessionâ In the next window
you
will see âselect cashierâ option, simply click on it.
Login as a cashier
After clicking on "Select Cashier," you'll see a list of all
cashiers. Click on the desired cashier's name, and then enter
the password. If an employee remembers their password, the
POSsession will open. If not, they can reset their password
using the reset button.


Reset Password
If the password is entered incorrectly, a "Reset" button will
appear for the cashier to reset the password.
Enter Password
Now enter the new password and click on confirm to reset it.
After clicking "Confirm," a message will pop up saying, "Password
updated successfully."

After updating your password, log in again with the new
password, and you'll be able to access the POS session.

You can also find the updated password in the employee's
profile.


Reset password by Admin
Administrator or admin has the authority to reset the passwords
of all cashiers.This administrative privilege is often granted to
ensure security, manage user access, or assist cashiers who may
forget their password.
Select cashier
To reset cashier passwords, the admin should first select the
Cashier,
Reset button
When the admin clicks on the "Select Cashier" option, a window
will appear, showing all cashiers, and for each cashier, there will
be a "Reset" button. The admin can then click on the "Reset" button
for a specific cashier to reset their password. This process allows
the admin to easily reset the passwords for individual cashiers as
needed.


Reset password
Click the "Reset" button, and a password field will appear.
Enter a new password into this field and then click the "Confirm"
button.
Password update message
After clicking on "Confirm," a message will appear confirming
that the password has been updated successfully.


Now , the cashier will now be able to log in with the newly
changed password.
